In 1950, Ernst Grafenberg described what's now called the Gragenberg Zone, or G spot, a sexually sensitive area inside the vagina. There are lots of opinions about whether it really exists.
According to a 1999 review in the German-language journal Sudhoffs Archiv; Zeitcchrift Fur Wissenschaftsgeschichte, the G spot has a long history in the erotic literature of India.
The G spot is described in the Pancasayaka, which dates from the 11th century, and the Jayamangala and Ratirahasya, both from the 13th century.
There are also mentions in the 16th-century texts Smaradipika and Anangaranga.
Considering that the population of India just passed 1 billion, maybe they know something that Europeans and Americans don't.
